Ep 13: Meet LAB - Learning Across Boundaries: An Interview with Dr. Lindsey Mantoan

In this episode of PoliTalks, we invited Dr. Lindsey Mantoan, Assistant Professor of Theatre and Resident Dramaturg of Linfield's Theatre and Communication Arts department, to discuss Linfield's new program LAB, which stands for Learning Across Boundaries. Dr. Mantoan is the current Director of the LAB program, and shares with us what exciting work they've been doing with the program which is taking over for PLACE, the Program for Liberal Arts and Civic Engagement at Linfield.  From the official Linfield website "LAB provides the Linfield Community with a physical and intellectual space to collaborate on work that crosses boundaries, whether they be geographic, disciplinary, racial, ideological, symbolic, or material. LAB brings together threads of the Linfield experience under one centralized hub with curricular, social, community, teaching, learning, and justice components. In doing so, LAB supports Linfield’s mission of "connecting learning, life and community.” Forging new collaborations across boundaries, LAB centers experiential learning, mutually beneficial service, and interdisciplinary projects."
