Ep. 131: Understanding the Threat of Islam!

We want to talk about the Malachi series and what it has to do with the renewed interest in Islam, in our country. We have a few well-known figures talking about Islam. The Pope is touting how friendly Muslims can be, Al Mohler is warning about the radicalization of Muslims, and politicians are all over the map. Let’s try to sort this out with a biblical view in mind. What does Malachi have to do with believers living in the US when we think about Islam?   How can we properly apply this as US citizens vs. being Israel with a theocracy?Let’s do a little historical tour. It’s interesting to note the freedom of religion Israel experienced after the Babylonian captivity.     Israel was given victory and blessing when they were obedient to God. This is very instructive for us.But how do we make a proper bridge between their day and our day as US citizens? Consider what senator Tommy Tuberville says about Alabama and Islam. Is the progressive definition of “compassion” really the solution?  Inquisition: Kirk Cameron recently said he currently holds to annihilationism. Does that make him a heretic?
