In Do the Wrong Thing, modern day Ava worries about money, her writing and a friend she's trying to help. 1980's Ava also worries about money, fights with her roommate and makes friends with a girl with a troubled past. In Tethered World, Zephyr finds Granny in the forest vividly communing with nature. Using their telepathic language, Granny shows Zephyr an intricate network that unites all of creation. Later, back at the cabin, Zephyr is startled to find that both she and Granny have aged a decade.
