Ep. 133 – Batman: The Animated Series – What is Reality?

Batman has to battle the Riddler in a trippy VR sequence in an attempt to rescue Commisioner Gordon on this week’s review of the Batman: The Animated Series episode “What is Reality?” and the Good Brothers are up to the task. Cal and Liam go heavy on plot and visuals discussing yet another AKOM studios' gaffe-filled production that includes what one host believes is the worst mistake they’ve ever seen in animation. They also break down one of the most fun sequences throughout the entire series as Batman fights Edward Nygma inside a video game and uncover some foreshadowing of the third Riddler episode.  Plus they discuss how everything in this episode is Robin’s fault, whether or not Edward’s scheme makes any sense, a debate on the effective use of music, and yet another legendary performance by the great John Glover as this week’s antagonist and how subtleties in his performance reveal some of the Riddler’s insecurities.
