Cookies have to be baked, presents have to be bought and wrapped, the house needs to be decorated, and there are events and parties going on every night of the week…just to name a few things! The last thing anyone is thinking of right now is the spring real estate market or buying/selling a house! Well…we’re here today to talk about why you should maybe start thinking about and planning for the spring real estate market if you want to sell your house after the New Year! TALKING POINTS (3-5): - Introduction - Clean and begin to purge in your spare time. - What can be decluttered and packed away now? What can be disposed of now? - Remember, the garbage collectors already hate you this time of year anyways! - Paint! - Use the downtime and any unused vacation time to work on small projects and prep. the house for the spring market. - What projects can and need to be completed prior to putting the house on the market?
