Ep 134, Kathy Wong: A Second Act Of Social Impact

from Karlosophies

Using her degree in Visual Communications, Kathy Wong initially made her mark in the field of design branding, marketing and publications. After retiring for ten years, she became a social entrepreneur - making a difference to poverty stricken children through her business Moeloco, which means "dream crazy". Moeloco designs and manufactures rubber flip flops that leave positive messages in the sand like "I am Peace", "Because I'm Happy", and "Be Grateful". For every pair of flip flops sold, Moeloco donates a pair of canvas shoes to a child in need - protecting them from injury and illness, and allowing them to attend school. Kathy's vision for a "dream crazy" world is one where profits from product sales are used to give back to the community, and help those who really need it. You can connect with Kathy and grab your own pair of flip flops at https://www.moeloco.com
