Meet the Co-Founder of Upcycleluxe, Harshita Chandra, a passionate entrepreneur and an international sustainability consultant who has also won the Sustainability Initiative of the Year by Entrepreneur India.A graduate of National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Harshita is an engineer-turned-fashion technologist who has worked towards driving Fashion Businesses enabled by Technology, in Digitalisation, Business Strategy, Marketing, Automation, Technology Integration.Upcycleluxe is India’s first zero-waste & sustainable fashion marketplace that “calculates environmental impact with plastic-free being the norm and zero-waste a lifestyle.” It was born out of Harshita’s experience at her fashion internship when she witnessed massive wastage of products from leading fast-fashion brands which left her asking several questions about the ethics of consumption and fair-trade practices in the fashion industry.
