Ep 139: Kristine's Week of Travels - The Parent Whisperer herself, Sharon Silver.

Kristine has been gone for most the last week traveling up north. Mostly work related stuff for the business and a visit to her family. Kris had to deal with the kids this weekend while forcing them to get haircuts before school starts up again. This week we were joined by Sharon Silver. Her childhood led to her parenting in ways she didn’t like. However, the lightbulb moments from her childhood led to a lifelong dedication to solving the biggest challenges parents have and resulted in my pursuit of an education in parenting, early childhood development, and interpersonal dynamics. She has 4 certifications in parent education, and training from the Cline/Fay Institute, INCAF, and the Gesell Institute of Child Development. She's taken the BEST of the strategies and skills she learned, coupled them with proven mindful psychology and child development, and created real-life solutions that aren’t fluff; they work for today’s parents. It’s her mission to shift the experience of parenting and childhood for every family from reactive to responsive, but since she's only one woman, She developed programs to help those who want the real-time results they need now! Sharon’s work has been featured on national media outlets such as Oprah, CNN, Sacramento and Company, Am Northwest, Parenting and Parents Magazine, Yahoo Parenting, and other regional and national parenting magazines. She has also been a speaker for Microsoft, Intel, PayPal, and eBay’s parent communities.
