Ep. 14: Deep Healing with Plant Medicine

from Desire on Fire · host Aimee Batuski

On today's episode I'm sharing my journey of when I sat in ceremony, for the first time, with the plant medicine, Ayahuasca. This ritual, when done with intention and gratitude can be SO life-changing and was an immensely profound and deeply healing experience for me. It highlighted a lot about my relationships and guided me to some strong realizations about the importance of feeling chosen, connecting and honoring our ancestry, and the beauty of truly giving and receiving someone's love. Join me as I get as vulnerable as I can to share the many insights I gained and the lasting impact I know this will have on my life and everyone who is in a relationship with me.    I get deep into: The ritual, from the initial taste to the beginning as I started to swim through consciousness.  My last relationship and the surprising realization about its connection to my health. A vision I had of my sister, crying with her as we discussed my insights, and the question I implore anyone with siblings to ask themselves.  Blocks around feeling chosen and admitting need and how I broke the cycle after my experience. Reaching "The Grandmother" and what racism is really a rejection of. The 'bully complex' and its relevance to Candace Owens and Trump's presidency.  Masculine and feminine dynamics and the profound revelation I had about men and their presence in our lives. My huge realization about "break-ups" and a funny story about my current partner Jan. And so much more!
