Ep 142: The Leadership Pipeline — Part 6: Addressing breakdowns

from The Transformational Leader

In this episode, we come to the last step of the six-part series of the Leadership Pipeline that leaders move through to go from an industrial era managerial approach to a transformational leadership approach. Just a reminder, this pipeline is a circle feeding back into itself rather than a straight linear progression to make room for situations that come up along the way. These six steps could serve you well if you bring it into how you and your partner do things together, say your finances, reinventing the way you do things. We have talked about the first five steps in the previous episodes. With this, we can assume that we have cleaned up breakdowns of the past, reinvented our relationships and recreated trust, enrolled people in the possibility, created a structure to support making that possibility real, and got the committed action towards the possibility.  To conclude the six-part series, we will talk about the sixth step, which is Addressing breakdowns. Before learning about how to do it, we will first define what "breakdown" is in the leadership pipeline. To dig deeper into the topic of addressing breakdowns, we will touch on the following -- describing the process of creating breakdowns, distinguishing breakdowns, getting clear on what's next, and repeating this process to create breakthroughs. Complete the puzzle by learning what the last step is in the six-part series of the Leadership Pipeline! Learn these steps and apply them. Listen and enjoy!
