Ep. 142 Today's Peep Immerses in Jim Boy's Taco Eating Contest, 3 Concets in 4 Nights... Dwight Yoakam in Modesto, The Cult at Thunder Valley, and Three Dog Night at Rocklin Quarry Amphitheater

This week, I took a break from my usual radio routine to attend some unforgettable concerts and partake in Jim Boy's Tacos' 70th-anniversary celebrity taco eating contest. From the thrill of the competition with local figures like the Fire Chief, Police Chief, and my former colleague Judy Farah, to chatting with Eric Freeman, the grandson of the founder, about their secret ingredient—Parmesan cheese, it was a whirlwind of fun and flavor. But that’s not all! I also ventured to see Dwight Yoakam hit the stage in Modesto with Darlye "with a Y" and Russell, and celebrated my brother Steve's birthday with The Cult at Thunder Valley. You won't want to miss the chaotic moment when lead singer Ian Asbury had to deal with an overzealous fan. Then it was Three Dog Night at Rocklin Quarry Amphitheater for some classic tunes! This episode is packed with stories that promise to entertain. So grab your headphones and join me for a week filled with music, tacos, and unforgettable memories.
