Ep: 143 – Operation Ward 57

from The Decision Hour · host Heroes Media Group

Operation Ward 57 has many amazing programs. Adam and Patti sat down and talk with Executive Director Brittney Hamilton and Heather Sliwinski to discuss their ADOPT A FAMILY program and their Honor & Courage Program.   As the holidays approach, and many families struggle to make ends meet, Operation Ward 57 saves the day for many disabled military veterans and Gold Star Families through their ADOPT A FAMILY program. Operation Ward 57 has a goal to help these families in needs with Christmas and Hanukkah presents for their children, along with a grocery card or prepaid Visa gift card for the family to purchase their holiday dinner and trimmings.    The Honor & Courage Program consists of a team of volunteer wounded heroes to serve as caseworkers/mentors to offer much needed support, compassion and motivation to those who are currently struggling with their injuries both seen and unseen. This support is open to ALL ERAS of veterans and first responders. The Honor & Courage Hotline is available 24/7 to any era of veteran, service member, family member or caregiver as well as Law Enforcement Officers, Fire Fighters and First Responders.    Learn more by listening to this episode of, THE DECISION HOUR.
