[Ep. 144] Navigating Trauma as an Art Form
In this episode, Luis shares with us his perspective and personal experience as to why trauma and art are similar. Like trauma, art is not the event itself but the expression. And "art" is simply how the body brings things from the unconscious to the conscious, i.e. anything we birth into existence. It can range from what we conventional think of as art, like painting a picture or writing a poem, to something more unconventional like building a toilet or how we may raise our children. To further illustrate this, Luis takes us into his studio and walks us through his own creation process as a musician.
