Today’s guest is a special one. Christian Knoop is the Chief Design Officer of IWC, perhaps my favorite watch brand, and certainly my first love among them. Christian and I met a year ago at an event in their flagship boutique on Rodeo Drive, and he was kind enough to host me last April when I also toured the factory. Needless to say it was an incredible experience and the hospitality was amazing. We chat about his design background, his approach to design, the various families in their catalogue and Christian offers a glimpse into what it was like designing a watch with Lewis Hamilton.
