EP 146: Bear Bred Blueticks with the Ellwangers

We finally got a chance to meet up with Ross Ellwanger face to face and he brought a heavy hitter with him! His cousin Chris has been involved with hounds since a child and gives us a backstory on how their strain of dogs came to be.  A real bear dog is something to behold, but to consistently produce them is a feat of its own. Ross and Chris talk about selective breeding, the traits dogs carry, and also have some great stories about running bear in the cornfields of WI.
