Ep. 146 - सरल भगवद् गीता अध्याय 16 ( दैवी तथा आसुरी स्वभाव) श्लोक 23,24 || Bhagavad Gita Simplified Chapter 16 (The Divine and Demoniac Natures) - Verses 23,24 || 04/11/2022

(Verse 23) Scriptures are the guide maps given to humans on the journey toward enlightenment. They provide us with knowledge and understanding. They also give us instructions on what to do and what not to do. Our scriptures are our manuals. Without following the manuals, we neither gain success nor attain happiness.  Human life is especially meant for purifying one's existence, and one who does not follow the rules and regulations cannot purify himself, nor can he attain the real stage of happiness.  (Verse 24) Shri Krishna now gives the final conclusion of the teachings in this chapter. By comparing and differentiating between the divine and demoniac natures, he highlighted how the demoniac nature leads to a hellish existence. Thus, he established that nothing is to be gained by discarding the injunctions of the scriptures.  Hence, Shri Krishna concludes by instructing Arjun to comprehend the teachings of the scriptures and act according to them. - Send in a Voice Message - https://anchor.fm/spirituallearningpodcast/message
