Not long ago, Ted Gushue posted a coffee maker on his instagram stories noting it was incredibly over engineered. He had me at coffee, but his description is what kept me hooked on the video. Perhaps a foregone conclusion, but as a man obsessed with details, I bought it. Weber Workshops' BIRD now serves as my go-to coffee maker every morning, and I thoroughly enjoyed learning more about and its founder, today’s guest, Douglas Weber. This conversation, like many, stemmed from a cold-call email I sent after receiving my BIRD, and not only was I delighted to know Douglas would be down to record, I was surprised at how much more we have in common.
