In the magic factories of R&R I'll talk about that handful of recording studios that captured those magical moments on tape for all time. That unique time from the late 50's thru the early 70's that has never been duplicated. The night Pink Floyd first met the Beatles recording Sgt .Pepper and what they witnessed to amaze and inspire them to experiment in the studio. The night the Four Seasons barely escaped with their lives recording their next #1 hit. Why did John Lennon want to be tied from a rope, hanging from the ceiling while recording at Abbey Road studio ? How did Led Zeppelin come up with "Stairway to Heaven" and what was the devil connection between that song and the Mr. Ed TV show theme ?...And if you ever wondered why we can't quite understand what the Kingsmen were singing on "Louie, Louie" or why the musicians in the studio were stunned and amazed by what happened with Phil Spector recording his masterpiece with Tina Turner...Well.
