EP: 15 Wayne Baswell

from It's Not The Duck · host Scotti Madison

Wayne, is Scotti’s longest running friend going back to the 4th grade. It's critical to be  “well read "  and can be the ultimate game changer to find that “common interest” with your prospect in sales. He shares his immense knowledge as a student of music history, of playing his guitar, and the impact it has on our wellbeing. We dive into what it takes to be successful in business, in particular sales. Wayne reminisces the lessons learned through “no nonsense fathers”, Little League baseball, Junior High Coaches, caring teacher’s and the spankings we both received pretty regularly. He is the master of sales, through his exceptional client relations skills always going the extra mile with everyone he meets. Wayne’s philosophy is to treat everyone with respect, work harder than everybody else, first impression is everything, and family and God come first. Wayne gives most of his credit to his loving wife and their dedicated relationship. It is important, “that people know you; if they don’t know you, they can’t do business with you and you get known by going out of your way to know them; what they like; what they do. If you want to build a lasting relationship, to endear yourself to someone, do something for their child.  Remember to consistently reach out to people especially on holidays and special times of the year."  Hosted by Scotti Madisonscottimadison.com
