Ep. 15 "What's your Backlog?"

from DoubleXP Podcast · host DoubleXP Podcast

This week we are joined by Mike (@BioMosley), Patrick (@Blodhthringa), Jake (@JuiceBoxGuy1), and the eluding Jovan (@Death_Eco) We go over Nvidia adding Control to GeForce Now, with promises of new games every week. Plague Inc. is getting a free new mode aimed at fighting, not creating, a global pandemic. GameStop to Close over 300 plus more stores. Microsoft talks about why Series X controllers will still be using batteries. What game failed, that paved the way for AC to be the hit is today(This was talked about for maybe 2mins then... Oh look a rabbit hole!) With the Lockdowns, stay at home, and social distancing going on in the world, we talk about our backlogs that we have been making dents in. (Hey this would be a great DoubleXP Question for the week) Jovan talks about how he got his first PS3, and it brings back repressed memories from Jakes' childhood. Mike tries to recall what games are coming out for what systems, but memorizing was never his strong suit. The Deep dive into Plague Inc new mode, seems to draw up a lot of different opinions (At least between the guys that is) Modes going from Easy, Medium, Hard, COVID-19! Another week, another rant on GameStop and its ways.  Talking about the game that brought about Animal Crossing, takes us to a blast from the past for different kinds of ways to play old Animal Crossing games, to the old GameBreak mods (Game Shark/ Game Genie/ Cheats) to the old TV shows on G4TV. A shout out to out Chat for all the comments and input during the recording, y'all are the best! Special thanks to @Mr.Demented for the intro/ outro theme. (Soundcloud.com/mrdemented).
