Yo, what up, yo, welcome. How y'all feeling? It's a IGV quick take. This is fire guys, people.

I'ma just be all that stuff real quick. Like, you know, it's like a freestyle, but that's fine. Podcast. Yeah, it's gonna be good.

It's gonna be good. I ain't with some people. I'm your host, Jay Will. And I would like to welcome you.

Some of the fire guys, people to podcast. But we balance faith and business to guide you to your purpose. This is a quick take, people. Come on.

This is the last episode of 2021, guys, people. So I hope you are ready to have an amazing time with me today. Oh, with me today. We're gonna kick it today about, you know, five things that 2021 taught me.

I'm a huge and firm believer in the idea of learning from things before I move on. You know, I think it's easy to just try to jump into the next year all the time, jump into the next thing I've learned throughout my life. This is a bonus one before we even get into the content. I've learned that sometimes people want to jump to the next thing because they know they, how can I say this?

Like they know they didn't do the right thing with the current thing, but they also know they ain't trying to do the right thing. I'm not telling you to hold on from stuff. I'm just telling you like before you move on, learn something. All right.

So before we jump into that, there's a couple other things. So we're gonna talk about these five things that 2021 taught me. And I think we're gonna talk about them. Yeah, from five to one, right?

So we're gonna work our way down to one. But first and foremost, I want to say thank you to all of y'all who have listened to this podcast in 2021. Like this is just man, like just another good year. You feel me?

Like a good time. We covered a lot of content. Sometimes I can't believe we made it here with this show. Like I've interviewed and talked to so many people.

So many great topics. If you were a first time listening, please do check out our podcast from episode one. And, you know, just go and listen. And thank you to the people who've done that.

I've had several people this year tell me that they have heard every single episode. So thank you and welcome to the every single episode club. I got to figure out a way to celebrate people who make these accomplishments and achievements. And I don't know if that's what it's called, but you know, like these badges of honor with the podcast, I want to find a way to appreciate y'all.

Maybe that's something we'll figure out in 2022 and by we, I mean me, you know what I'm saying? But right now I'm rocking and making it happen by the grace of God. So thank you if you listen to 2021. Like please don't stop listening.

Here's the one thing I will say. Like please share the show man. And I know y'all sharing it because that's how we get more listeners. But I do think we could probably share it even a little more.

You know what I'm saying? I don't know. Like you tell me, are you actually sharing it or you just hearing me say that every week? And you like here, never know if I don't share it.

Do me a favorite share this with somebody today. Like seriously, like copy the link, send it as a text, send it as an email. You know that somebody needs to be inspired. And it's time for us to stop being shy about inspiring people.

Like the world is not shy about sharing no information. But like with good information, we always tip to around people with stuff that can help them. Let's be bold in 2022 with sharing good content just as bold as we are with sharing memes and things like that. Okay.

If you want to email me, email germane wilsonmusic at gmail.com. Thank you to all my emailers. Definitely appreciate y'all. Y'all send topics and things you want to hear and feedback from the show.

That doesn't go overlooked. I'm also asking y'all look, give the show ratings on Apple podcast. But in 2021, over 60% of our listeners came through Apple podcast. So if you could just like why you on there, give it a five star.

If it's a five or four, if it's a four, a three, if you don't like me, a two, if you hate me and a one, if you never want to see me again. Okay. But just give the show a rating. Also feel free to like add like a review in there.

All right. Now let's jump into the content. I do want to share with y'all what I want to do first. I want to share some of the top five shows of 2021.

I think it's important if you listen into this podcast that you know, like what's the ones that everybody really like? Now first and foremost, if I must say so myself, you know what I'm saying? We get a lot of support and a lot of listeners on every episode. So the five that I'm sharing are just the top five they still on volume of listeners, but it doesn't mean the other shows didn't do really well too, but I want to call these up.

So if you're a new listener and you like, I ain't going back to episode one, I ain't doing it. Or if you're, you know, a faithful listener and maybe missed a couple or you just like, yo, I kind of want to hear it again. I'm going to give you the five that for whatever reason, I don't know why these are just the five that were the top. So let's start from five to one.

Number five, most listened to episode of Inspire Guys, people in 2021 was episode one, 26. It was entitled The Life You Never Had. Shout out to that episode. You know what I'm saying?

Maybe I need some hand claps or something here today. All right. The number four most listened to episode in 2021 was episode one, 19. It was entitled.

It's a lion outside subtitle, six ways to stop making excuses and being lazy. So if you're a person that's like struggling, you just like, you know, sometimes I try to do these like a number of them. Like, so you know, like, all right, these are six things you can write down, five things you can take away the data. We learned in 2021.

Like I think I like doing those type of episodes for that reason, because it allows the content to stand out and you can walk away. My goal is that you walk away and like you didn't just listen that you actually like to take this information and do something with it and produce fruit. That's my ultimate goal with this show. So hopefully that's happening.

The number three most listened to episode and 2021 episode one, oh seven die with memories, not dreams. And that was the Terrico Williams interview. That was actually a line that she said in that interview, die with memories, not dreams. So if you haven't heard that one, please do check it out.

The number two most listened to episode in 2021 was episode one, 21 entitled up from slavery, which was the Booker T. Washington book review and that episode featured my home boys, Matt and Doug and we broke that book down. Maybe we should do more book reviews. I don't know if there's a book you want us to review or something like that.

Let me know and I'll do that. But that was an amazing one for anybody who wants to learn about like slavery and how from a slave's perspective and just, you know, kind of what do we do with these thoughts? Like how do we think about these things? Not just like an emotional rant and things like that, but just some real healthy conversation and dialogue to understand the life of a slave from a slave, but also not to stop at slavery.

The book is entitled up from slavery. So it's Booker T's journey, like how he made it beyond slavery. I think that's important. All right.

The most listened to episode of inspired guys, people, the podcast in 2021 was episode one, 18, how to be inspired. That was the purpose guide. May I look, I will be real with you all. Y'all know how excited I am that episode one, 18 is the most listened to episode this year.

That lets me know y'all must have really shared out of something because when you listen back to it, that is really the anchor episode. I would say of this entire podcast, like if there was one episode outside of like maybe what you get from like episode one in the earlier episodes where I'm laying a foundation, episode one, 18 is really a foundational episode of this show, which is all about, you know, balancing faith and business to guide you to your purpose. So you know, throughout this show, there are going to be weeks that you get business topics and faith topics and some topics that overlap, but ultimately the goal for everything is the same. We try to guide you somewhere and that purpose guide is super adult because it's something tangible that you can actually look at and say, okay, I got to do a B and C and this is how I get there.

And that's important to me, man, if you listen to this show, this ain't just gossip or, you know, conversation like I'm looking like I'm planting seeds, I'm expecting fruit to produce. That's my mindset. I'm expecting y'all to be business owners to be successful growing whether it's health, whether it's wealth, whether it's spirituality, faith, I'm expecting growth, I'm expecting fruit to produce from this show. That's why I do it.

I don't plant seeds for no reason. So how to be inspired? If you don't listen to anything else, I would say go listen to episode one 18. Thank y'all so much for making this show.

Just a continue growing experience for me. A couple other things about inspire guys, people to podcast in 2021. I would say, you know, super blessing our listener base grew 11%. So we had 11% growth versus prior year.

So that's super cool, man. Like to know that we growing in double digits. Let's keep the growth going. You know what I mean?

Let's keep the growth going. I could talk, I could talk. But that was cool. I think there was one other thing I want to share from 2021.

Oh, cool. The top countries that listen now, first of all, understand this, understand this. We had 39 countries to listen to this podcast in 2021. Can y'all clap y'all hands for that, man?

39 countries, like that's super cool. And on top of that, there were like 60 times it registered as unknown. So I don't know, that could have been US. It could have been another country, I don't know.

But 60 different times it actually registered as unknown listeners throughout the year or so or based on their country. So anyway, man, from what we know, 39 countries tuned into this show. So the fact that y'all listening all around the world, I just want you to know that it's nothing but love for you, from me and, you know, I wouldn't be able to grow this show without you. Hopefully, no matter where you at in the world, you're getting something from this.

Here were the top five countries that listened in 2021. This is from five to one. Number five, South Africa. Thank you, my brothers and sisters in South Africa.

I appreciate you. I say, I thank you. Thank you so much. Number four, Canada, right across the border.

You know what I'm saying? That's what I'm talking about. I'm in Michigan. I can go downtown Detroit and look at Canada from Michigan.

So I appreciate y'all from supporting your brother. You know what I mean? Number three, man, Austria. Now, like shout out to Austria for being the number, like, and we, these top five countries got quite a few listeners too.

So I just want to appreciate y'all for rocking with us. Number two, Sweden. You know what? I want to say to my Sweden listeners, y'all really be email a lot.

Like my Sweden listeners be emailing. I got a couple people from Sweden that emails quite often. I want to just thank you, like, for rocking, showing love and being an active listener. That's one of my goals in 2022 is to grow the active listener base of this podcast.

A lot of y'all listening, you ain't saying nothing. And I don't know why you ain't saying that. I don't know if you just love Key like that or if you like, you know, like, I know y'all listening for the right reasons. I ain't worried about that.

But it's just like, you know, I know some people be chilling. But I want, I don't know. I want to see some more active listeners like you hit me up. I got people that DM me and email me and I appreciate those who reach out.

Like tell some other people too, you know, and don't just tell me, you know what I mean? So anyway, Sweden is number two. Is there any surprise? No, there's not.

I'm in the US and the number one country really by far is the United States. So that's, that's no surprise. But I do appreciate y'all in the US across all across the country as well. I should have dug into what the top states are.

That's what I should have did, but I didn't grab those statistics. So maybe next time, thank you so much for rocking with Aspire Guys people. And I think it's time that we transition and get into the topic of the day. Five things that 2020 was taught me.

All right, we about to get into this, man. Five things, five things people. We're going to start from five and make our way down to number one. And really the goal of today's show is to share like the takeaways.

Like I told y'all, I like to be able to take something away before I move forward. So I can know what the lessons were that I can apply to the next year and beyond. You know what I'm saying? Because life has a lot of lessons and a lot has been compacted into 2021.

I think it was an amazing year. You know, despite the fact that outside factors in the world will try to, you know, create all type of tension and, you know, story lines and narratives. Look, man, I'm thankful to God for everything that he's brought us through. And I hope and pray that this has been an amazing year for you as well.

But let's get into it starting from number five. And what I did for each of these, not only do I have five things that I learned that I'll expound on, but I also have five verbs. I think you have verbs, action words. I think these are all verbs.

Don't quote me on that. But really five words that could just kind of ground the idea, you know what I'm saying? Of what I'm actually trying to articulate. So number five, we're talking five things that 2021 taught me.

And where is it at? I think five is, let me just make sure I got this written down. And then if you all saw my hand right in my hand, right? And just be all over the place.

Like this is ridiculous. Okay. Number five is sometimes the problem doesn't just go away. And my action word is adapt.

So 2021 taught me to adapt. Now let me expound on that. When you got real work to do, metal supermarkets will help you get it done. Fast.

We've got a huge variety of metals in stock and we cut to size fast. Bottom line, we get it done fast. So you get it done fast. Doesn't get easier than that.

Metal supermarkets, the convenient stores for metal. Find a store or buy online at metalsupermarkets.com. You know, you think about this pandemic, you know, we are now a couple years into this thing. And I can remember, right, you know, a year and a half or whatever it is ago, March 2020.

But things started shutting down. You know, I remember when they first was shutting stuff down and it was kind of presented like, Hey, just do this for two weeks or three weeks or whatever it is. And it was almost presented like, Hey, everybody going to house and just let this thing go away. And again, I'm the kind of person that likes to keep score, which is what we're talking about here.

I like to not not for no petty reason, but just to understand what I took away and what's something true, what's something false, what's I right about what I was thinking or what's I wrong so that I can learn from it. And when I really think about, you know, 2020, you know, we made it through all of that, the shutdowns, economy, unemployment. And everybody was kind of turning the page of 2021. Like, all right, that's all going to go away.

We just going to move forward. Hey, fans are back in the stands at stadiums and so on and so forth. I'm like, when I look at it, I'm like, it's still here. It's still here in a different form.

Like, like, it don't look the same way that it did, you know, 18, 20 months ago, but it's still here. And so for me, it's like, you've got to adapt sometimes. And that's been important to me throughout this process. And, you know, I'm probably not going to go too far into this one, but the goal is just for you to know, like, you know, sometimes you can't just go in the house and hide from a problem.

You know what I'm saying? Like, like life is still going on. Things are still moving forward. The economy has to progress.

There's so much more. And I'm like, I want you to really try to listen to the point here. Sometimes it's hard to talk about anything that is related to the pandemic or this virus, because everybody politicizes everything and they stand on one side of the other. And once they hear that you might be saying something slightly different than them, they just get triggered.

I'm not trying to trigger nobody today, but I'm trying to tell the truth. And it's the fact that, like, man, I've had to adapt. 2021 taught me to adapt, whether that's in my corporate work life. Um, I still, again, as a leader of a team.

I got people on my team that like, I never met steel and it's funny because, you know, you're talking now, like, you know, one person that got promoted recently. Well, deserve promotion. You know, I met that person one time and it was because at some point this year, it was okay to travel. And then I was like, I had that one trip and I talked about it on the show and I had this one trip where I actually met my boss and his boss for the first time, the one and only time I've met them and one of the individuals on my team, you know, we, you know, we were all there.

And it's like we had that one trip. It's like, cool. I had trip to Vegas and I don't even remember everywhere I was supposed to go. Um, Ohio, I mean, Ohio is next door, but I was supposed to go to Cincinnati for a business trip.

But again, had to adapt because everything the next week, it was like, oh, I think that was around the time the Delta variant was kind of making his way. And again, like this, you know, the storyline was was there, the narrative was there. It was what it was. And we had to now we had to adapt because there was no more travel.

And I was about to meet various members of my team, you know, who, well, of course, we have zone meetings every two weeks on my team calling and things like that. But, you know, I want to meet people in person. So what am I saying? I'm saying you have to be willing to adapt.

You can't just sit and wait for something to go away sometimes because life will pass you by. And this might mean different things to different people. I'm just sharing what it meant in a business world to me, but whatever it means to you, just know that sometimes you can't just sit on the sidelines. You got to do something.

You have to be the problem solver to figure something out. And I know that sometimes, man, there's so much fear driven out here. People will make you so afraid. You'll just cross your legs, sit in the corner and wait for someone else to solve the problem.

But sometimes in life, just like Moses had to go back and say, let my people go. Pharaoh, let my people go. He had to go get him. Like he couldn't just sit and wait for someone else.

He had to go get him, free him and then get them across that Red Sea. But the thing was God didn't work the miracle until Moses stood at the seat and looked it in his eyes and rose his staff. This is Exodus, I believe chapter 14 in that area. Like what I'm saying is sometimes you got to grab your staff and look your opposition in the eye and then God will work.

And sometimes we just wanted to go away or we want to sit on the corner like, Hey, I've been in the house for two years, like coming back. I like, am I good now? Did it go away and you're going to look up in five years and different things going to be happening in the world all the time. And so we cannot just be overtaken by fear.

We have to adapt to the problem to the situation and it's not always easy. I'm not minimizing it, but I'm telling you 2021 taught me that you have to be willing to adapt. Number four, we're talking about five things that 2021 taught me. And number four is, okay, remember, like my handwriting is just not great.

Like, what is where's number four at? I thought I changed number four. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. You know, it's saying it's right.

It's bad. Like it's actually really bad. And it's not just, let me just say this. It's not really just that the handwriting is bad.

It's that I write all over the page. Okay, I got it now. There we are. Number four, I say this all the time and I kind of just said it, you know, when you at the end of the last one, education is more powerful than fear.

Education is more powerful than fear. I've said that a lot this year. So if you're a listener to show this, this isn't new to you, but this is important. You know what I mean?

And the action word here is read, study, read and study, whichever one, same thing, but kind of different. You kind of need to do both. Read and study. And so this idea that education is more powerful than fear.

You know, I learned that this year because when you have the media and, you know, different political sides who have incentive to push a narrative and to force certain thinking among people, I'm just being real with you. I mean, I really said back these this last year and I saw a lot of people being controlled by fear. And I'm not blaming them, to be honest. I understand why people were controlled by fear.

I see. I genuinely could see how it works. But what I learned is that I have to be willing to read and study to educate myself, to overcome the fear that the enemy will try to place upon me. If you're not reading and studying, it's going to be hard to overcome fear.

Now, as believers, that reading needs to start with the Bible. And I'm not just talking about reading some scriptures like some means. I'm not talking about just glossing over something. I'm talking about meditating on a word day and night, truly seeking an understanding of what this word of God means because everything is in the Bible.

And I know sometimes we try to act like things aren't in the Bible because maybe it's not specifically called out a certain way. But I want you to understand, like when you study the word of God, Jesus actually describes to his disciples why he speaks in parables. Like God has a desire for those who have an ear to hear what he's saying. Now, you sit here like we all got ears.

So what does he mean? His sheet knows his voice, right? So God speaks in a way in the Bible is very abstract in a lot of ways because this idea of parables and like there are things that Jesus has in his word. That you can't just get it at the first glance.

It's kind of like this. Let's be real. Like, all right, you know, I'm a rapper. Y'all know that.

And a lot of y'all listen to all type of rap. You know, I'm not here to judge that. But what do we know about rap? It's a lot of metaphors, similes, abstract things like, oh, that was cold because J.S.

Memphis when he said like some of y'all listen to people because they say it's something and mint something else and all this. Like that's what made rap dope to me when I was growing up. It's like, oh, this idea of like, you know, entendres, right? So look at the Bible like that.

It's not the entire Bible, but there are a lot of things in the Bible that are there for those who are seeking it. And those who seek his word will find what they're looking for. And they won't have to be driven by fear because they'll be educated in the word of God. Now, after you had a foundation of the word of God, you can apply that to a lot of things.

You can apply that to financial literacy, health, wellness. Like, there's so many things where if you just educate yourself, you don't have to be driven by fear, politics, right? Man, these news headlines will have people doing some crazy stuff because a news article just can be written by the most random person in the world. And just because they work for a certain company or organization and, oh, that company has credibility.

We take these news articles as scripture. They not scripture. They not the news that's reported out on the TV. It's not scripture, bro.

Education is more powerful than fear. Let's move along for somebody is mad. Number three, let's see if I can find it on the trick chicken, chicken scratch board. All right.

So what's number three? Oh, I like this one. I like this one a lot. Um, how you like it?

So there it is. You have to be willing to be wrong in order to be right. And the adjective, I mean, the action where they're is balanced. You have to be willing to be wrong in order to be right.

Now, as you'll see, a lot of these things flow into each other. Okay. We talked about adapting, reading and studying, any imbalancing, right? So number five was sometimes a problem doesn't just go away.

And number four, you know, what's education is more powerful than fear, right? So you need to be educated so you can deal with the problem. And then number three is about, hey, you have to be willing to be wrong in order to be right. That means that sometimes you're going to have to solve problems.

You're going to have to make decisions. So as an example with everything that's going on in the world today, there are some people that have had to make decisions about what they want to do, the action that they want to take on certain things. And I know a lot of people like to talk like in absolutes. And if you listen to the show, you know, I don't really like to do that.

Let's, I'm talking about the word of God or some guys. It I don't like to talk in absolutes because there are so many people that are acting like they know for sure. What I'll tell you is that what I believe is that I have to follow my conviction. So let's let me use the example of like an investment.

Let's say if I'm looking at three companies and I only got, you know, $3,000 to invest when I look at those three companies, I'm looking at the founders. I'm looking at what their goals are. I'm looking at the market cap and the size of the company and kind of way in and assessing the risk. And there are there are times that I look at an investment and I just have to make a decision, like how much do you believe with it?

Like how much do you believe that this is going to succeed? And I might say, you know what? I'm putting is three companies. I'm investing the entire 3000 on this one company because that's how strong my conviction is, or I can take a different approach and say, well, I want to hedge a little bit.

So I'm going, I like them all a little bit, but none of them is standing out. I'm going to put a thousand on each of these three companies, invest their long term and then just, you know, add to it as I go, see what happens. Right. The thing is this, you know, it's a term that says scared money don't make money.

Right. I'm just using money as something that people invest in, some people can understand and relate every day. Right. So the idea of scared money don't make money is like some people are so scared to make a decision to invest to, you know, just make a decision on anything, choose a job, hire a person like whatever it may be that you are just stagnant because you won't decide.

You're so scared to be wrong, but in order to be right, you have to make a decision, which means you have to be willing to be wrong in order to be right. But it's balancing everything. The balance of it is you don't just, because again, remember, go back to what we said, because you understand you've adapted to the problem. You've studied in red, right?

And you understand the importance of like not being fearful, not that you're not afraid. You can balance yourself in everything that you've learned, that you've studied everything that you've experienced. And, you know, through all your adaptation, you can balance yourself and make a decision. And it's okay.

We won't always be right about everything. I'm not going to be right about every single thing. I think I'm not God. That's impossible.

But if I follow my convictions and if I go through a process and I have a strategy, I can at least be comfortable knowing, you know what? I was wrong about that. But I really stood up for what I believed in. I really stood on what I believed in.

I had a real reason for believing what I believe regardless of what topic or area of life this relates to, I just believe that you have to be willing to be wrong in order to be right. Okay. Now let's move on to number two. We almost done, baby.

We almost done. Number two. We're talking about five things that 2021 taught me. You don't always have to explain yourself.

Man, an action where here is believed. Now, again, hopefully you're seeing a connection of the five things I've learned. Once you make a decision, you don't always have to explain yourself. Now, this is something that I've struggled with in life because I tend, y'all, notice if you listen, I tend to prefer to be light, but I'm learning to willing to be disliked if it's for something that I truly believe in the decision that I've made.

And, and there are going to be times and there will times in 2021 where those two things cross paths and I had to decide which one was more important. Was it being liked? You know what I'm saying? Or was it like, you know what?

No, I'm not going to explain myself to you to try to make you like me because of a decision I made. I'm going to make the decision and I'm not always going to explain myself. And 2021 taught me as well that sometimes that relates to people you love and adore, your family, their decisions that I've made. I use again a simple sometimes I hate to use money again because like I use the Bible as an example, I try to balance it out.

But sometimes finances is just easy because of something people relate to, but this is more of an actual example. So I'm taking it all back to when I first started, you know, becoming financially literate, if you listen to the show, you've heard bits and pieces of these stories, you know, throughout the years. But I can remember when I first started saving money, man, I used to always explain myself. So let me use this example since Christmas just passed.

There were times in any of my family members, if y'all listen to y'all, notice it's true. There were times that I would send a text message or even when I see family members gather them together in the room and person and explain to them like, hey, I know Christmas is coming up, but me and Tiff ain't buying gifts this year. So on and so forth and you know, kind of like, because again, like I want to explain myself so you understand and people, sometimes people were cool with it. And sometimes I know people weren't cool with it.

And they're looking like, how y'all don't got this? Like, you don't got no money for this. Like, and again, when you try to explain yourself, here's the problem. If I'm financially literate and let's just say as an example, I'm not just, I just talked about investing.

Let's just say, Hey, I'm not spending money this Christmas because I'm investing in something. It's not necessarily even, maybe I'm not literally broke. I don't know. Maybe I am, but maybe I'm just investing in something.

So maybe it's that I do have money, but I value my money differently than you. Like you might value your money as like, Hey, let me go buy a bunch of things that really you, I don't know if you need them or not. Like, I don't really need them. So it's like a bunch of things that I buy all year long anyway.

Let's just buy them because today is Christmas and spend all my money or I can be thinking like, Oh, you know what? Man, it was something I really wanted to invest in. I rather invest in that because that's going to have an ROI. Let's just say that's going to grow a percentage this year versus if I buy this Christmas stuff, number one, y'all like, I don't know if your kid is going to play with the toys or you're going to wear the jacket, I bought you or not, but you know, it ain't no way for me to know.

And I don't make nothing from that. When I explain myself to people who are not financially literate, it doesn't actually help anything because most of us think people should be doing what we doing. And I used to be like that too, because I used to be feeling like, yo, none of y'all should be buying nothing for Christmas. All right, you broke too.

So what's my point? That leads me to number one. The number one thing that 2021 taught me, take your own advice. The action where we're here is to lead, take your own advice.

So Jermaine, instead of trying to explain yourself to people and get them to not do something or to do something because you think is right, how about this? How about you do what God calls you to do? If you're Joseph, be Joseph. You give it.

I mean, like if you were David, be David, ladies, if you're Ruth, be Ruth, take your own advice. One of the problems that I had coming into this year is I was trying to convince other people to do the things that God called me to do about a grace of God. I've learned how to adapt, read, balance, right? Believe and lead.

And through that, when you look at number five, right, I understand that sometimes the problem doesn't go away. Right. And so because sometimes the problem doesn't go away, I have to educate myself so that I can be like understanding that the education is more powerful than fear. Right.

So I have to educate myself to overcome that fear. And then once I overcome that fear, I have to be willing to be wrong in order to be right. I have to have that conviction, right. And then from there, I realized with my conviction, I don't have to explain myself.

I don't have to explain myself because it's not your call. It's my call. It's what God called me to do. And maybe you don't have to do it.

Or maybe you can do it or you don't want to do it. I don't have to explain myself. But what I do have to do, what is like, absolutely 100% like I have to do it because I have to take my own advice. I have to lead with my own advice because if I don't, I won't be able to look myself in the face.

So that's what 2021 taught me. And I can stay here right now and I'm actually sitting down, but, you know, sitting in the studio chilling, you know, my sit down voice, but I can see here honestly and say that I took all these lessons and that's what I've been applying by the grace of God and I've been perfect in it. Haven't been flawless, but I can honestly say that I feel comfortable saying that right now, like I'm living those things out like 100% I'm taking my own advice, 100% I'm walking in my convictions and I'm not waiting on other people. I'm not explaining myself to everybody along the way, not in an arrogant way.

Like I'm sharing. I'm just not explaining. It's a difference. You know what I'm saying?

Explaining is totally different. Explaining is like you're looking for someone else's validation and approval. Sharing is just like, Hey, look, Hey, this is what I learned. Like you want to learn this too?

This whole podcast is sharing. But man, you got to that, you got to read, you got to balance, believe. You know what I'm saying? You got to leave.

And those are the five things that 2021 taught me. Feel free to hit me up and let me know what 2021 has taught you. I can't talk. And that's your main Wilson music at gmail.com.

But yeah, again, thank you all so much for rocking with us this year. Let's make 2022 even more amazing. I'm really going to try to continue to grow this show. Look, I'm being honest, it's not always easy.

I'm just being real, you know, because it's just me. You know, I get really busy at work. Like in my mind, sometimes I'm like, how are you even doing this? You know, because, you know, like I just have a really busy job.

And, you know, amongst, you know, having a wife and a family and trying to balance life and things and investments and all type of stuff. But I could truly say it's been fun so far, man. And we still going, I'm still learning. I'm still growing and I'm trying to become who God created me to be.

Hopefully you are on this journey as well and trying to really reach that. You know, I can I can stay in here and say I can sit here and say I'm really proud of the fact that you heard like we got 39 countries listening. We have whites and blacks and Hispanics and Asians and everyone. Man, this show is about believers being united by faith.

I'm proud of that because it took a lot to stand on that in the midst of a divisive world who has since like I like I said while it was happening, it's just moving on to the next thing. Like we don't even have to hate each other just simply off our race anymore. I mean, not right now. I'm sure to come back, you know what I'm saying?

But look, we don't have to follow the ways of the world. I'm proud of that. And I hope that you have taken something from this show throughout the year. I hope you continue to take something and I'm just excited about the things to come.

I got a lot of big goals, y'all. Some things I don't share is not like some things. Yeah, I'm private, but a lot of things are just confidential based on business and stuff like that. Y'all know, man, I work at a large fortune 50 organization.

And look, when you do a business and stuff like that, like I can't come here and talk about that stuff in depth and I try to really protect that stuff and really do business the right way. So, you know, I come on this show and I speak on behalf of me, not on behalf of the organization I work for. And, you know, like, so I don't get all into like the business world. That stuff is kind of confidential.

I share things out of. So I guess I'm saying this because things that you feel like, man, he'd be a kind of vague when I'm dealing with business business has a lot of responsibility. When you're a leader, it's a lot of responsibility and accountability. And, you know, I used to work at McDonald's.

I know we're working McDonald's. I worked at twice at the cashier. If I worked at McDonald's right now, I'd probably be telling you everything that's going on at work in full detail. But I can't do that.

And I don't advise you to do that if you worked at McDonald's either. But it's just that when I worked at McDonald's, you know, podcast and whatnoting and social media wasn't even out yet. So anyway, I don't know how we got down this path. Like it's about to be 2022, have an amazing new year.

Be safe and praise God. Pray for me. I'll pray for you. I love y'all.

God bless y'all. Just how far I can go. La la la la la. Can you tell me a little shit?

I'm stop now. If I keep going, will I ever find out? Oh damn, I just wasted my time now. You can tell me, you can tell me, not.

Happy New Day!
