David Mercieca is a landscape photographer based in Australia, living on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, capturing the unique beauty of our natural world.  David specialises in photographing the natural world but also loves to experiment and create unusual and unique images with no limits to the imagination.  David began his photographic journey, about 20 years ago beginning with his initial inspirations from traveling and a love for the outdoors, transitioning through life changes and rekindling his passion after a break from photography.  We discuss David's approach to photography, including his shift from capturing memories to pursuing creative fulfillment, his experimentation with different techniques, and his experiences with competitions and exhibitions.  David also reflects on the importance of photography in capturing moments of nature, his challenges with printing, and the emotional and experiential rewards the craft offers.
