Ep 151: Teshaga - Medicinally Joking
from Uncontained
Oakland based comedian Teshaga joins me on Uncontained. We met up in Oakland at Drakes Dealership for a conversation. We talk about his origin story. How he was forced out of work due to getting injured on the job and being put on permanent disability, and how doing stand-up comedy is helping him heal physically. They say laughter is the best medicine, and this is another testament to the power of laughing and making people laugh. To sum this episode up, it is about a person who had to overcome many obstacles that life threw his way, and by finding humor in those tough situations as well as life around him.
