Ep. 154 Light Realm Photography with Eyoälha Baker

Eyoälha Baker is a photographer, muralist, public speaker, writer, community engagement activator. She is best known for her 6 year Jump for Joy Photo Project which started in 2012, photographing thousands of people from all walks of life to capture and share the energy of joy, and creating several large-scale public art murals with her images, uplifting people around the globe. During the summer of 2019, Eyoalha began developing her new passion and genre of work which she calls - Light realm Photography - showcasing yet another side of her continually evolving creative expression working with the energy of light, taking her photography to new realms using the dynamic forces of energy, breath, movement and sunlight to create otherworldly and uniquely original images. Her recent art show, FOUND was inspired by nearly losing 15 years of images and reflects both letting go of lost photography work and refocusing on what remains, paralleling the metaphor of her own personal evolution on her journey of healing, self-discovery and artistic expression.
