Ep 154 The San Diego Foreclosure Timeline
from Chris Spade: A Pulse on San Diego's Real Estate · host Chris Spade
I hate to be the one to have to tell you this, but there are going to be foreclosures in California. It's a fact of life. The majority are going to come from landlords who will be losing their rental properties because of the eviction moratorium. So, if there is a moratorium on evictions, why not on foreclosures? Well, that's a good question. Today, the government aka the White House stepped in and put a halt to evictions. Now, while in no way am I condoning a swift kick in the keester during a pandemic, you have to understand that this is just kicking the can down the road. At some point, if renters do not pay their mortgage, they will be kicked out of their homes. If you are a landlord facing foreclosure, what are your options? We go over what you can do. Even if you aren't a landlord, there are options you have to saving your home. Take a listen and if you'd like to sit down and talk about your options in further detail, feel free to reach out to me at 619-818-2992.
