Our identity is shaped by so many things, but one significant factor is where we’re from. Our home impacts so much of how we think, act, and live. While this may be challenging from an earthly perspective if our homes are not loving places, as Christians our true homes are actually all in heaven. And this truth changes everything. When we shift our perspective from earthly to eternal, from what we see to what God sees, we can develop a true understanding of the identity God has formed in us. And when we know whose we are, we know who we are, and we are compelled to live a life that reflects God’s goodness and love in the world.
