Ep. 157: Having Purpose in Publishing with Jackie Haley

Jackie Haley is a published author, speaker and entrepreneur. Her first novel, Crystal Beach was characterized by the Des Moines Register, Jackie didn’t stop there. After interviews, speaking engagements, book signing events from San Diego, California, to Austin, Texas to the Midwest, Jackie published the sequel, Truce Island and continues to speak to groups on the writing and publishing process. Her latest book, Brenda's Wish just released in October and has received national endorsements and other excellent reviews. She's appeared on Channel 8's show "This is Iowa with Eric Hanson" and Channel 13's new show "Hello Iowa" just in this month alone. Jackie has a passion for writing, for making a difference and for helping others with similar passions. Besides speaking engagements and her writing career, she has over 15 years of experience in nonprofit management and began her own consulting business in 2012 doing strategic planning projects and more for nonprofit organizations. Jackie has now launched a brand-new entity Dream to Author to help aspiring writers become published, providing assistance through online training and coaching services.
