So much of the world has forgotten the reason for the season, the true meaning of Christmas. Christmas has been replace by Xmas and nativity scenes and traditional carols have been largely replaced by Santa Claus and reindeer, gifts, candy canes, Christmas trees, stockings, snow, wreaths, Christmas lights and baubles, and secular Christmas songs on a loop. Don’t get caught up in material gifts and shallow festivities.
