From lopsided management contracts with Backstreet Boys and N* SYNC to aeronautics insurance fraud to making an enemy of a high-profile trial lawyer, we lay out the multivariate elements of Lou’s shell game, which amounted to the longest-running Ponzi scheme in American history. Prepare yourself for a tale encompassing the Good Year blimp, a former Nazi airman, a popular financial blogger, and the collective forces of the FBI descending on Bali.
