Many years ago, I wanted to start a particular project and I didn't think I was ready to start publicizing it. It got some very good advice. "You'll never feel ready." They were entirely correct, so I just got started. In anything you start, you will often feel you're not ready. You don't have the education. You don't have the experience. You don't have the connections. You don't have the money. You don't have the equipment. As my friends in New Jersey might say, "fuggedabodit!" Start where you are. You'll never be "ready." Even if you made a list of everything you think you need, once you had all that, you'd discover you didn't need half those things and you need a dozen more you didn't think of.
