Today I am joined by Marisa Elise Melton. Marisa is a 27 year old Latina entrepreneur, CEO and founder of Ris Events LLC and Mariposa Chicago. She is a mother to a beautiful 10 year old with special needs and a very cute chihuahua. Marisa was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, she enjoys being crafty, decorating and spending time with her loved ones. She has a passion for the community and loves to give back, inspire and empower other aspiring business owners/entrepreneurs.  She is a full time event planner.
