Ep. 16: Politics As Usual
from I'm Not Mad...I'm Pissed · host Flawless Noises Media Network
Welcome back! This is Episode 16 of I’m Not Mad … I’m Pissed! The honeymoon is over. Two months into a new Congress and almost 6 weeks into a new Presidency and the honeymoon is over! We’re back to the partisan bickering and fighting over what could all be so simple. The Senate is dissecting and “fine tuning” the Biden Covid Relief Plan to their specifications aka gutting as much from it as they can so they can still NOT vote for it. Two Senators that call themselves Democrats are helping Republicans rob the American people of the relief they want and need. Governors across the country are putting their incompetence on full display. Whether it’s Gov. Abbott of Texas lifting business capacity restrictions and the mask mandate or Gov. Cuomo of New York and his inability to keep his hands to himself while hiding the total number of deaths in New York’s nursing homes since the Covid pandemic started, not all of the action is happening inside of Washington. This week we’re giving flowers to Chadwick Boseman, Andra Day and Daniel Kaluuya for their well deserved Golden Globe wins. We don’t know much about the Golden Globes or the Oscars around here, but we’re rooting for everybody black! We hope you enjoy the show and as always, we welcome any and all feedback.
