Seven years later, she’s appeared at Newport, RI’s Rogue Island Comedy Festival, NYC’s Black Women in Comedy Laff Fest, LA’s Laugh Riot Grrrrl Fest, and Toronto’s Far from Here Festival. She’s shared the stage with comics like Alingon Mitra (The Daily Show), Mia Jackson (Comedy Central), and Leighann Lord (Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn), performs regularly around New England and the Mid-Atlantic, and appears as a recurring panelist on The Great Pop Culture Debate podcast.She’s a co-producer and co-founder of FODball Productions, a series of mics and shows dedicated to showcasing “FOD-ball” comedians (or those who are typically the ‘first, only, or different’ of their kind on comedy lineups), and as of January 2022 is hosting Pantry Raid Comedy, an online comedy show that allows comedians to share their favorite jokes – and their strongest food-based opinions – presented by Comedy Hub.WATCH AMMA'S NEW SPECIAL "Enjoy Your Nachos"Amma lays out her journey with anxiety, as laid bare by the pandemic.
