Ep. 162 - Where Do We Begin? | Lawrence Lotze and Bryan Ward

from Dad Up Podcast · host Bryan Ward

Lawrence Lotze has always had a passion for helping to connect people through similar life experiences and challenges. He found that creating a podcast was the best way to do this. Over the last 24 months Lawrence has focused on building & promoting a brand that enables him to do what he loves. Through the support and guidance of his new found network, he has managed to create a successful platform which enables him to reach out to views across all nations. During this success, Lawrence was given a harsh reality check that we are all only human. This reality check came in the form of a brain tumor, which he was diagnosed with in April 2019. He has always seen himself as a health guy, so to find himself in this life altering situation was something he struggled to deal with. In June 2019 he underwent brain surgery to remove a golf ball size tumor and although he has recovered physically, he was not prepared for the emotion and financial impact this would have on he and his family. In the beginning of 2020, he found himself financial impacted due to time off work and the need to rediscover what life is like requiring a lifetime of medication. He reached rock bottom and now is working on building back up with the support of his family, friends and of those who have inspired him via his podcast. Lawrence Lotze now hosts The Wolf of Queen Street Podcast, which has become a top 100 iTunes Entrepreneur podcast in over 10 countries. His podcast has grown to well over 200k downloads. Lawrence also shares further tips and strategies on how to launch a podcast from scratch at no cost and how to grow, monetize and build a world brand. Dad Up!
