Ep. 163 When Treasure Chests Attack!

Between the three of us, we have been playing D&D for decades, which is a VERY long time.  Being inspired by the latest movie “Honor Among Thieves”, we decided to look back at some of our favorite creatures, including the terrifying Mimic!  This is a treasure chest that can eat you.  It has a teeth-filled maw, and is easily mistaken for your typical box of loot.  This is not to be confused with the box-shaped Gelatinous Cube, which will slowly dissolve adventurers unlucky enough to be caught in their deadly Jell0!  Since the world is so dangerous, we discuss the typical ways to survive, which include unpredictable Wild Magic, as well as the practice of safe shape shifting.   This episode is an adventure all itself.
