Ep 165: Algorithm Sync (Ft. Austin Black)

Our guest is a proud man of the midwest. He was recently promoted to regular at Comedy Works — folks please welcome stand-up comic, Austin Black! Follow him on Instagram @Austin_Black__ & check out his new comic ‘The Janitor’ on his website: AustinBlackComedy.com We talk about how Austin started comedy in Iowa, we play some good ‘ole Midwest jeopardy, and we share stories of Penguins Comedy Club in Cedar Rapids and hear how Austin & Sean’s time at Penguins was like two ships passing in the night. We’re just chilling, talking about light beer & midwest drinking culture. Austin poses lots of important questions, like: would you rather die in a studio apartment or die in a nice apartment with roommates? What a thinker… We hear a story of the “head guy” who Austin lived with in CapHill. Don’t let this guy finagle his way into your Hostel group-touchy-time, or he might hurt someone! Or so Austin’s been told.. Also important conversation deep into the episode about modern dating & the urge to find a life partner. Hey if we are going to die with roommates, can’t one of them be our spouse?! Thanks to Austin for coming on. I owe you 35 lashes for my technical failings. Please come back on the pod sometime so that I may atone. FO & BW
