Zverev outperformed expectations, making the final and pushing Sinner, while Djokovic fell in the semifinal to Sinner in straight sets. Overall, the tournament featured both favorites making the latest rounds as well as shock runs by underdogs like Arthur Fery, but in the end Sinner's victory meant the expected result came to fruition.
