Officially unidentified, The Screaming Man has been pored over by scientists and doctors to determine who he was, what the cause of his mysterious death was, and why his body was preserved so poorly, yet buried among Pharaohs. Was he a foreign official buried according to his own customs? Was it botch job done by outsiders who didn't fully understand the mummification process? Or was there a deeper meaning behind it all?
