In this episode, Joey starts off by talking about the Oakland Athletics who have won their seventh consecutive game and two in a row against Tampa Bay. After that, he moves onto talking about the Los Angeles Angels who have won eight of their last nine games, including two gutsy wins against the Texas Rangers. Joey praises the Angels for successfully revolutionizing the game, calling up three different top draft picks within a handful of games in the minor leagues. Following that, he talks about the Red Sox who have struggled to score runs against the Rockies and mentions the fact he believes they could completely blow it up. Joey argues that he thinks Chaim Bloom and Alex Cora see eye to eye. Next, he breaks down the Vegas Golden Knights’ Stanley Cup championship over the Florida Panthers, crediting Bruce Cassidy for winning in his first season with the team. At the end, he recaps the Denver Nuggets’ NBA Finals win over the Miami Heat with an outline of what happened in Game 5 and how deep Denver’s rotation was.
