This week on the show we get the opportunity to interview Rudy Valdez and Cindy Shank from the powerful HBO documentary "The Sentence" which  explores the devastating consequences of mass incarceration and mandatory minimum drug sentencing through Cindy's story,  a mother of three young girls serving a 15-year sentence in federal prison for her tangential involvement in a Michigan drug ring years before.
