Shelby is a social media manager, and she's here to share with us the importance of authenticity online.    We all like to feel put together and professional when presenting ourselves online, but we cannot be that way all the time, and we shouldn't! We are real humans, and guess what? People love and want the raw and unfiltered side of us!    “We’re in a world of social media where everything is fake, but people think that all of these highlight reels that your getting of someone’s life, is their life, because people get to choose what they show you. So what I always say is, imagine a world where we all just showed up exactly how we are and we were okay with people accepting us in that sense versus trying to do these trends, and trying to use all these filters, or trying to do all this stuff. If you just show up 100% yourself, number one you’ll be very proud of yourself in the end, and number two it’s like you’re pulling back the curtain to let people get to know you on a whole different level.
