With over 55 years of experience, Dr. Laslett was in continuous clinical practice from 1971 until April 2024. Although now retired from clinical work, he remains actively involved in research and postgraduate education.Since 1985, Mark has taught short courses internationally, initially as a senior international instructor for the McKenzie Institute International (1985–1998). From 1993 to 2004, he developed and taught his own upper and lower limb courses globally. In more recent years, his teaching has focused on the lumbar spine, pelvis, hip, and the science of clinical diagnostics.Dr. Laslett holds diplomas in Manipulative Therapy and Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy and is an honorary life member of the New Zealand Manipulative Physiotherapists Association (NZMPA), Physiotherapy New Zealand, and the Swedish branch of the McKenzie Institute.
