In this episode we chat to the lovely Allecia who fell pregnant with fraternal twins unplanned and definitely unexpected! Everything was going extremely well with the pregnancy until she hit around 34 weeks and developed HELLP syndrome (Hemolysis, Elevated Liver enzymes and Low Platelets). Her initial plan of a vaginal birth went completely out the window when she had to be hospitalised and flown to Adelaide, where she eventually birthed via an emergency c-section. Still to this day, Alle reflects and feels angry and sad about the way things played out; but is ever so grateful to have her 2 (well 3 including her eldest) beautiful babies!
