Ep 17. Julian Nelson on Making it as an Actor and being a Professional Pirate

Julian Nelson is an actor, model, and part-time professional pirate based here in Vancouver, BC. He has guest starred on shows such as Resident Alien and The Good Doctor, and most recently delivered a great starring performance in our Trek ad “My Best Friend On the Trail.”   Julian joined us today to discuss trying to make it as an actor in Vancouver, why Saskatchewan is boring, auditioning, being directed, and what it’s like working a day job as a pirate named “Jagger Jones” on Granville Island’s Pirate Adventures.
