Ep 17 • Peace in the Midst of Loss with Miriam Walker

from Rivers In The Wasteland · host Amanda Williams

On this Episode Amanda shares a conversation with Miriam Walker. Miriam shares her testimony of how God moved before and in the midst of losing her husband. Her story reminds us of how present God is during our darkest times. Miriam Walker is a mother of three adult children and currently serves as the Prayer Coach at the New Heights Church in Chandler, Arizona.  She was born in Cleveland, Ohio but moved to Arizona in 2014.  She committed her life to Jesus as a teenager and has seen his hand guiding her through every season.  Miriam has a deep passion for higher education and holds a Masters in Organizational Leadership and a MBA/Project Management.  When she is not serving her family or her church she can be found watching football and cheering on her favorite team the Cleveland Browns.   Her favorite verse is I Timothy 3:16, "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."
