Episode 170: The Crew’s searching for Dryland while discussing The Most Expensive Movie Ever (in 1995), Waterworld. The film’s troubled production is notorious; the film ran over budget, the director (Kevin Reynolds) left the project before editing was completed, and a small set sank to the bottom of the ocean! Regardless, the film is still a fun post-apocalyptic adventure. Yes… it’s Mad Max on water, but the world-building is well done. And the Atoll battle scene is jaw dropping, so many great stunts!
