ep. 172 How to be a better CEO w/ Bryce Henson

from The Jillian Murphy Show · host Jillian Murphy

We all want to be better leaders, but how exactly do we get there? Today, I am so excited to be joined by Bryce Henson, the CEO of Fit Body Boot Camp, to be discussing how to be the best leader you can be and how your fitness affects your ability to lead.  Topics we cover:  You need to lead yourself, lead your family, and lead your empire, but all of that starts with leading yourself Forced accountability and the pressure of not wanting to let someone else down How being fit helps you be a better leader  You can’t be everything to everyone, or you are no one to nobody    “I’ve been speaking and presenting, and I’ve gotten way better, but I still have a long way to go. So when I get up there to tell an awesome story, connect, and provide bullet points, my audience is like, 'oh my god man, you are so amazing.' I was very grateful, but I was thinking to myself, 'they’re nineteen and twenty year-olds. I’ve been doing this for two decades.' So reps and sets, this did not happen overnight. You better look at me in five years time or ten years time being like, 'holy smokes, you were good then but wow you are amazing now.' So it's a growth journey. It’s about putting one foot in front of the other. In today’s social media, we look at people’s highlight reels and we think, 'oh wow that must have happened overnight.' The fact of the matter is that anything worth value takes time; it takes years; it takes decades.”    Connect with Bryce: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/realbrycehenson/  Podcast: Fitness CEO https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/fitness-ceo/id1353577754   CONNECT WITH JILLIAN Join Infinity HERE Follow me: @thejillianmurphy Visit my website: thejillianmurphy.com Join my Free Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/sellingsecretsgroup Grab My Happy Juice: http://ltl.is/rxdcgpj
