Ep. 173 - Intro to Absinthe

There is a rumor out there that Dracula once said, "Absinthe is the aphrodisiac of the self. The green fairy who lives in the absinthe wants your soul. But you are safe with me." If he had been with us on this episode, things would have definitely been less funny! Speaking of funny, we welcome back two returning guests from the podcast "America's Barley Basket", comedians Nathan Fulsebakke and Marlin Wells! We also bring in our house specialist from Bridgeview Liquor Evan C to weigh in on this "possibly at one point illegal" distilled spirit! In this episode we sample and review Pernod Absinthe Superieure, St. George Absinthe Verte, Leopold Bros Absinthe Verte, and Vieux Pontarlier Absinthe Superieure Francaise.
