My chat with Tom is soon after he and his team prepared the course for the NZ PGA and what a wonderful example of a tournament golf course it was.Tom comes from humble beginnings growing up in the Lower Hutt region of Wellington. It was here that he decided greenkeeping was what he wanted to do and left school early, to the surprise of his school mates, to begin his career.
