Ep. 174 -5 Golden Rules for Professionals Using LinkedIn with Crystal Collinson

from Raise Your Visibility Online – LinkedIn, Video & B2B Marketing for Professionals

In a podcast first this week, I’m co-hosting with my friend Crystal Collinson, which means for once I’ll be answering, as well as asking the questions! Crystal is the principal of Crystal Collinson Interiors, a full-service design firm specialising in the design and decorating of everything from new homes through to commercial projects. She lives by the simple philosophy that “design should solve problems, not create them”. She’s now putting her years of experience to good use, with the launch of her very own podcast – “The Productive Designer”, later this month. With it, she plans to educate, collaborate and motivate all interior design professionals to get to where they want to be. In this episode I share my advice for how professionals such as interior designers like Crystal can get the most out of LinkedIn. I offer my golden rules on.. 1.     Optimising your LinkedIn profile 2.     Being selective with your connections 3.     How, when, and what to post 4.     Why you need to focus on building relationships, and not just business 5.     How to get your customers to find you We also talk a little about the new LinkedIn Creator profile that’s in the process of being rolled out by LinkedIn. If you haven’t heard about it yet, it’s a way for people who create a lot of content (including LinkedIn live videos) to start conversations with their networks and audiences in new ways. It’s early days, but I’m excited about it! Hope you enjoy this one! MEET CRYSTAL Crystal has her own site – theproductivedesigner.com, as well as her The Productive Designer podcast which launches later this month (available wherever you access your podcasts).
